Bicycling in Cape Cod

We rented some bicycles and rode the bike path out of Orleans, on the Cape's elbow. Twas a sunny Summer day in Massachusetts. The bike path is flat and we cruised along leisurely. Along the way we saw this glade and I couldn't resist getting down to the waterside to snap a pic. Down in the bushes near the edge was this lovely iris here.

The scenes here are pretty typical of Cape Cod. We had some images of the beach but they didn't come out too well. In this site we have included only the best shots we had. If I shot a lousy picture of the Loch Ness Monster, you wouldn't see it here (but I might sell it the National Enquirer).

At the farthest point in our trip we stopped at an ice cream stand and gorged. When we got back to the house we kicked over to Skaket Beach for some pizza.
