Bath has been renown for its baths for more than two thousand years. Every once in awhile it became popular again thanks to an king or queen, or as fickle fashion dictated. Bustling Bristol and surreal Stonhenge are nearby. The hills are lovely green as hills in the Isles tend to be. Life is good. Might be pretty sweet to live in Bath for awhile.

The Pump RoomView All Sizes
We strolled around the baths adjacent to the Pump Room restaurant while waiting to be seated.
Dinner at the Pump Room was delicious. We also sipped some of the the mineral water pumped up from the spring.

These four photos of the baths were composed into one panorama on the Bath location page. Although the antique value of these baths is priceless, it'd be equally cool to scrub them down and open them up to the public. New paint job, fresh water, open bar...but hey — just a suggestion! They're pretty awesome as they are.

Upon reviewing the photos I couldn't decide which ones to axe, so a selection is presented here. If you look closely you can see the water is bubbling and steam is rising off the surface in wisps. The hot springs are still active.
